Serial port software in ubuntu

Open Ubuntu Software Center, type "serial port terminal":

Or run command:  sudo apt-get install gtkterm

Run Serial port terminal with su permission from Dash

Or run command: sudo gtkterm

Config port: Configuration -> Port

Send  data: View -> Send hexadecimal data

View data received: View -> ASCII or View -> Hexadecimal
